If your looking for some straight up bolt on power that's been tested and adapted specifically for the Turbo Gen 3 B48 Engine mini, with out any need to re map and a solution that works straight out of the box then our stage 3 PRS racing Hybrid turbo for the gen 3 mini is the perfect solution.
We use a brand New GENUINE manufactured turbo unit and then remove the standard internals to allow for carefully selected, larger, higher performing components. The internals are machined out to allow for superior flow and increased volume through out the housing. We then install brand new high performance motorsport grade components throughout to replace the inferior low performing stock internals.
We have spent a lot of time carefully developing this this turbo to allow for enlarged compressor and turbine wheels that use a 6 blade compressor wheels with a unique blade pitch to ensure that the spool time and drag are as efficient and powerful as you can get minimizing all lag and flat spots through every gear with out compromising on performance or reliability.
The main brief when designing this turbo was to ensure, increased throttle response with minimal lag and to get rid of any flat spots commonly found though out the full rev range in any gear on the stock turbo.
After the huge success and performance figures that we have seen with our R56 Hybrid turbo we wanted to follow suit and ensure we achieved the same results if not better, with our Gen 3 Hybrid performance turbo unit.
