A common issue with fitting a de cat exhaust to your mini or even a sports cat is that the engine fault light can often come on. This is due to the increased exhaust gas flow passing the sensor and making the engine management think that the Cat has failed.
The Airtec MIL light cheater positions the sensor out of the cat and its then subjected to less gas flow preventing the engine management light form being activated.
The Airtec MIL light cheater should only every be fitted to the O2 sensor which is the one after the Catalyst.
