We have taken the Specific genuine Borgwarner JCW GP turbo and manifold and developed a high performing Stage 3 turbo capable of 440 + BHP with supporting mods To accommodate for the larger JCW Gen 3 GP turbos.
The Turbo is a plug and play unit and doesn't require any additional modifications to run.
The OEM internals have been replaced, a brand new genuine Specific GP turbo machined to accommodate the larger light weight high performance motorsport grade billet wheels and supporting high pressure motorsport grade bearings, seals and shafts to ensure prolonged life and performance.
The specific JCW GP hybrid Stage 3 supports the most demanding highly modified Gen 3 F56 GP and non set ups further increasing power and torque.
Unlike the JCW the JCW GP Hybrid uses a slightly larger manifold and turbo. We have taken this and machined out as much as we can and replaced the stock inducer and exducer compressor and turbine wheels with the very best billet milled and engineered wheels on the market unlike some of the cheaper Chinese stuff out there, guaranteed to produce better spooling speeds and increased air volume within the turbo, resulting in better boost and spool up times over the standard weak restrictive OEM turbo.
Relentless testing and refining has gone into the development of this Turbo over a 12 month period to ensure we are able to offer what we believe is on of the very best high performing turbos out there!
We don't use re manufactured or refurbished units, only genuine brand new Borgwarner turbos for all of our hybrids.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have a standard Gen 3 Cooper S or JCW then this GP hybrid Turbo will still fit your vehicle.
